Sandies

1 C unsalted butter
1/4 C confectioners sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. water
2 C all purpose flour
1 C chopped pecans

Cream the butter and sugar. Add the vanilla and waqte.r Add flour and mix well. Add
pecans. Form into small rolls 1 1/2 inches in llenght. Place on ungreased cookie sheet
and bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes or until delicately browned. Roll in confectioners
sugar while hot  or dip ends of cooled cookies in melted chocolate and in sugar
sprinkles.
