Subj:  Swedish Meatballs
From:  FRAMEPAT

2 slices white bread, crust removed
1/4 c. cream
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 large onion, finely chopped
8 tbs. butter
1 lb. lean grd. beef
1/2 lb grd. veal
1/2 lb. grd. pork 
1/2 c. fresh dill,minced or 1/4 c. dried dill
1 1/2 c. beef broth
1/2 c. sour cream

Soak bread in cream and egg.  Mix to paste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.  Saute onion
in 3 tbs. butter.  Add the meats and on-third of bread mixture and the dill.  Mix very
well.  Cool.  Wet hands and shape into 1 1/2 inch balls.  Heat the remaining butter and
saute meat balls until brown.  Add the broth and simmer 15 minutes.  Stir sour cream
into broth and add rest of dill.  Dish up meat balls, and spoon sour cream sauce over all.
