Lowfat Fettucine

1 tbsp margarine
2 small cleves garlic,minced
1 TBSP all-purpose flour
1 1/3 cups skim milk
2 TBSP light process cream cheese product
1 1/4 cups grated fresh Parmesan cheese,divided
4 cups hot cooked fettuccine, cooked w/out salt or fat
2 tsp fresh chopped parsley
fresh pepper

Melt margarine in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic saute'1 minute. Stir in
flour. Gradually add milk,stirring with a wire whisk until blended;cook 8 min. or until
thickened and bubbly, Stir  in cream cheese,cook 2 minutes. Add1  cup Parmesan
cheese,stirring constantly until it melts. Pour over hot cooked noodles;toss well to coat.
Top with remaining cheese and parsley and pepper. Yields:4 1 cup servings.Calories 345
compared to a whopping 755 calories
