Rabbit Planter


* YOU'LL NEED: From 1" pine lumber, two 9 1/2" x 16" pieces (for
rabbits), one 7 1/2" x 7" (bottom) and two 4" x 7" (ends); Butterscotch,
Acorn Brown, Azure Blue, Baby Pink and Warm White FolkArt acrylic
paints; medium sandpaper; 1 1/4" finishing nails; wood putty; wood glue;
transfer paper; Butcher's Wax or clear finish; jigsaw.

1. Enlarge rabbit pattern (photo available in Crafts Corner library).
2. Transfer to wood and cut out. 
3. Glue and nail 7" ends to 7" edges of planter bottom (broken lines on pattern); 
    set nails, fill holes with putty. Sand smooth, rounding edges. 
4. Paint 1 coat white. Let dry. Paint white mixed with a touch of Butterscotch. 
5. When dry, transfer and paint details on both sides of rabbits. Let dry. 
6. Rub with sandpaper to "age" surface. Apply finish.
