Subj:  Squaw Bread


Good recipe for squaw bread:
2 pkgs yeast (2 tbl)
1 teas honey
1/2 c warm water
Proof yeast in above.....then
Process the following in blender or food processor:
1/4 c honey
1/3 cup raisins
1/4 c brown sugar
add to yeast mixture along with
1 3/4 c milk, room temperature
1/3 c butter, melted
1 tbl salt
1 1/2 c rye flour
2 1/2 c regular flour
1 1/2 c whole wheat flour

Blend as normal for bread, and knead, let rise, punch 
down, and shape into two round
Bake at 375 about thirty minutes...
