1. You should use JAVA Applelet to express ASL dictionary. Demonstration is much faster to learn than text about ASL.
2. I have two daughters who are certified life guard. I am surprise to know that ASL is not required for Life guard. I am looking for video tapes or CD-ROM to help them pick up the ASL fast.

ASL is really neat... I mean, even deaf people need to be able to communicate with hearing people. I think it's neat that people try to learn ASL just so they can talk to deaf people! =)

Just "ran across" you site and already have it as one of our favorites. This is really marvelous. Please keep up the quality. I am sure my wife will want to share some of her sewing secrets and receipies. Again, good job and thank you for something meaningful and useful on the web.

Good morning:
I recently pick up your receipe for Baba Ghannouj & found it
to be THE BEST appetizer my family ever tasted. I was wondering
if, by any chance, you knew the Nutritional Composition of this
wonderful dish. If you do, we would appreciate it, if you
could e-mail it to me.
Sincerely
Dede

hey ... love the web page ...i'm hearing, but most of my friends are deaf. Ilearned ASL from them....most of the sites i visited say that the only way to learn ASL is by a native signer..not by books or CD ROMS...(there is no feed back..so you dont kow if you are actually saying something or just speaking jibberish to some deaf person) why do you promote such books and CD ROMS???

One of the best font areas that I've ever visited. Well organized and quick to load. Just plain nice. I will pass your address on to both my MAC and PC friends. Cheers, Miss Mary :)

Am a 1st yer ASL student. Plan to take course II next semester. Always wanted to be able to "teach" children, especially those with physical handicaps, specifically HOH or deaf.
I am HOH and losing more every day. Wish I had learned ASL earlier on in life. Now am in quandry, take Child Development courses specialty, Special Ed classes or get secondary credential.
Plan on working only with Indian children. There are so many who need help and extremely few able to help them. Give me some direction, encouragement or advice, pls. I could use it.
Will be graduating May '99 with BA in PSCI. HELP!

Your inclusion of the Bible is wonderful, and well done. It is a blessing to be able to go to the Word of God while on the Net.
