Subj: Pizza Dough
From: PJR13

Here is a pizza dough recipe that I have been modifying for a few years now. I change it
all the time just for variety.

Combine the following:

1 cup hot water in a bowl with a package of yeast
1 heaping tablespoon of Barley Malt (Honey can be substituted)
Stir the barley malt in with the yeast and water till all is dissolved and let it stand till it
bubble a little.
Add 2 tbls of Olive Oil or Basil Olive Oil
1 tsp of salt
3 cups of flour
Optional: add 5 cloves of fresh crushed garlic into the dough while your kneeding it.
Mix all these ingredients together to form a ball of dough and then kneed it for 5
minutes. Let it rise for 15 minutes.

Set the oven at 350 and oil a pan and press the dough out in it.
I put all sorts of stuff on top. Last night was sauteed tempeh, italian peppers & a
jalepino pepper. I put down a layer of Muir Glen chopped tomatoes, a layer of the above
sauteed ingredients and some fresh garlic and then more tomatoes.
Try it!! It is too good.
